The Algorithm of Choice

Let’s apply the linear regression machine learning algorithm since our inputs are labeled and we’re trying to predict a price range of values as outputs. We’re going to apply the data science workflow to this problem to obtain optimal results. Let’s hit it!

What is Cluster Analysis?

• Cluster analysis is a multivariate statistical technique that groups observations on the basis of some of their features or variables they are described by.
• Cluster analysis can also be classified as an unsupervised machine learning used by data-scientist to better understand data.

The Goal

The goal of clustering is to maximize the similarity of observations within a cluster and maximize the dissimilarity, with a feature or features, between clusters.

Intuitively speaking, observations in a dataset can be divided into different groups and sometimes this is very useful for companies, labs, and scientists.

A Simplistic Example
