Step inside this orphanage to see school meals in action

Saving lives, changing lives, and feeding dreams in Central African Republic

Meet Madame Gilberte’s students:

They live and study at her orphanage in Central African Republic. And each day they enjoy a nutritious school meal, provided by the World Food Programme — and thanks to the support of compassionate people like you.

But it wasn’t always this way. Because since the crisis in Central African Republic began, more and more children have lost their parents. And as more children needed a home, enrolment increased.

The World Food Programme was called to help. Now, school meals provide these special children with the strength they need to learn and the nutrition they need to grow.

With a dose of Madame Gilberte’s love and healthy food every day, the future looks bright for these precious children!
