Here’s a question… Where do you get advice when considering a large purchase?

There’s a difference, in my mind, between information and input. Meaning — everyone is going to have an opinion, but what information are they using to form that opinion and what information do they bring to the table? You have to be able to discern where people are coming from before giving weight to their opinion. Your parents may have a lower risk tolerance than you do, the writer may not be looking beyond the crime statistics to property values and appreciation. What are YOUR criteria for making the purchase and what information do you have on those? Are you communicating that to those whose input you are seeking, to get better feedback?

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
