Almost everyone was wrong about Trump becoming nominee
So anyone who thinks he won’t win the general could still be wrong

That's gotta be satisfying. When you've been told you'll never achieve a certain goal, and then you turn around and completely prove them wrong.

Remember last year when everyone thought this race was going to be Hillary (a lock) vs. Jeb Bush. I thought there was a chance for Marco Rubio to catch on. But here we are and she's the one still fighting for nomination and Trump came out of nowhere to shake up the GOP.
Remember when the consensus was, "No more Clintons or Bushes!!" Well, the GOP followed through. What's good, Democrat voters? You guys are dropping the ball.
Good thing I don’t predict elections for a living, like "stats genius" Nate Silver. That guy gave Trump a 2% chance of being nominee in August 2015. If your livelihood is predicting election trends and results and you completely miss out on the biggest story of the year- the rise of the outsiders, both Trump and Bernie- then what good are you? He can take a seat the rest of this election. Try again in 2020 when it will be easier, the winner of 2016 running for re-election. We don’t need Nate Silver to predict the obvious 2016 races. Spoiler alert, Kamala Harris is going to be next CA senator. But watch Nate Silver write that and he is hailed a genius.
To my knowledge, the only people who accurately predicted Trump’s nomination are Rep. Keith Ellison (the guy in the video being laughed at by Clinton employee, George Stephanopoulos) and Scott Adams (Dilbert cartoonist). Scott Adams has been writing really insightful columns about Trump. He’s not a pundit. He’s not a statistician. He predicted Trump’s success since August based on his persuasion skills.
