There was a bomb on my block.

So true. American media has become too used to catering to the lowest common denominator. At the same time, reputable news sources, mostly print, are bleeding money, and have been bought out by rich individuals who can afford to take the hit, but may or may not have their own agendas and interests. When Murdoch started dominating news in the 80s the first thing to go was investigative journalism because it wasn’t profitable, and I feel like we’ve been going downhill from there. I’m actually attending an event at Microsoft tonight about the evolution of the newsroom in present times. Let’s hope there’s good news in the horizon.

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?
