It is not about who takes the most immigrants and who is in most danger. It is about the fact that United States citizens cannot keep believing that all immigrants are criminals who came here to kill, rob, rape, etc. Some of them came here because they had no choice, they either came to the States or risked death in their own countries, but that does not make them bad people. They are still hardworking and honest, they just didn'thave a choice. So when people say that it’s as easy as “just getting a visa” they have no idea what they are talking about. U.S. embassies around the world make it hard to get a visa, even just a tourist visa. And if you are a male ir female between 18 and 30 years of age then there is a 20% chance of you getting a visa, especially if you don’t have a high income. So no, a lot of these people do NOT have a choice they just want to save their families lives or their own, and I believe that it is unfair that people look down on them just for that, regardless of where they are from.
