Your bank account won’t tell your life’s story.
Will your social media tell it? Is the legacy you want to leave behind on Facebook or TikTok? I didn’t think so either.
That’s why we created LEGACY.
LEGACY is a web 3 community providing a platform for creating and preserving your legacy. You create memoirs detailing your life’s important stories. This can be a video or audio recording, or a written article illustrated with photos or a combination of different media — whatever works best for you.
LEGACY provides a set of evolving tools to easily create your memoirs. A memoir and all its digital content, such as video and audio recordings, photos, artwork and writing are yours and you will keep all the rights. NFTs will be minted for these memoir files for certifying their authenticity and your ownership.
All the content will be permanently stored, and the accessibility of your memoirs is guaranteed as technology evolves.
LEGACY provides a default rendering of memoirs. Today this is done in an Instagram-style presentation for web browsers and mobile devices. LEGACY will adopt new rendering technologies, such as the Metaverse as they become technically feasible and popular.
LEGACY is a Semantic Web platform. This means individual memoirs are connected, for example through people, events, locations, dates, organizations, or brands. As a result, individual memoirs are woven into history as seen through the eyes of the people.
LEGACY is a web 3 community governed by members who earned their seat on the governance board by meaningful contributions to the platform. Everyone can participate. People should contribute their expertise in areas such as history, community management, content moderation, technology, accounting, or finance.
