Your organisation is either a Homo Sapiens or Homo Neanderthalensis. You are Ice Age.Will you leave evolution behind you or fossils?!

A small introduction into my thoughts:As humans we are known in the scientific community as ”Homo Sapiens” and as you may or not know we evolved through many climate and environmental destructions but we always manage to come out victorious and outlive everything that’s trying to kill us.But during the latest Ice Age we were through the same climate change with our now long lost cousins Homo Neanderthalensis which didn’t make it as their body structure and other physical and mental traits minimised their chances of survivability and stopped their evolution.
Many scientific researchers claim that the reason Neanderthals went extinct isn’t due to tribal wars with the more advanced Homo Sapiens but due to their inability or failure to adapt to new climates, areas and diets that took place around 40,000 years ago as the now famous Ice Age.
Now what you can take out of this medium article and make sure your organisation doesn’t vanish.
As you understood and probably experienced yourself throughout all the years you were alive until now
Everything around you is a test that will define whether you flourish or perish
What i mean by that is really simple. It’s not the Ice Age that killed Homo Neanderthalensis,it was their inability to get accustomed into the new weather and all relative customs.
Not keeping up with the latest news revolving your industry or generally keeping it “traditional” or “old fashioned” will eventually kill you.
It’s been said infinity amounts of times with a plethora great companies that died to verify and show us whatNOT to do :NOKIA,BlackBerry, television,Suzuki,Hummer,Blockbuster are some of them to name a few.
All of them were giants in their industries and yet now they are just remains of their past glory.Who killed them?Themselves and more specifically their inability to keep up with the world’s needs and standards and just sitting and embracing past days of glory.
A great example of this inability will be the final words that the Nokia CEO ended his speech to announce that Nokia was acquired by Microsoft:
“we didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost”

They didn’t do anything wrong in their business, however, the world changed too fast. Their opponents were too powerful. They missed out on learning, they missed out on changing, and thus they lost the opportunity at hand to make it big. Not only did they miss the opportunity to earn big money, they lost their chance of survival. The message of this story is, if you don’t change, you shall be removed from the competition. It’s not wrong if you don’t want to learn new things. However, if your thoughts and mindset cannot catch up with time, you will be eliminated.
So to conclude what you can take out of this example of ancient fossil and to make sure that you turn your legacy into ancient fossils you need to have in mind that:
- The advantage you had yesterday, will be replaced by the trends of tomorrow. You don’t have to do anything wrong, as long as your competitors catch the wave and do it RIGHT, you can lose out and fail.
- To change and improve yourself is giving yourself a second chance. To be forced by others to change, is like being discarded.
- Those who refuse to learn & improve, will definitely one day become redundant & not relevant to the industry. They will learn the lesson in a hard & expensive way

With that being said don’t be like NOKIA.Make sure your business is keeping up with the rest of the competition in both online and offline marketplace and get in contact with the #1 SEO Agency in UK just like Best Man and a Van did to make sure that your business will thrive and evolve aswell.
Be safe
Peace ❤
