We know Scrum and Kanban as flavors of Agile. However, the majority of the people don’t know if they are running a Scrum or Kanban in their companies. The first step to understand this difference is to know that Kanban is not just a board. Kanban is a framework, methodology, process (call it as you prefer) and the board is just a tool. In the other side, you must understand that your Scrum board is different from a Kanban board, and this is one of the biggest misunderstandings, because everyone just call it ‘Kanban’.
