Sometimes life can become overwhelming, and the thought of disappearing from it all can seem like the easiest way out. It's easy to get lost in our own thoughts and feel like no one understands us or that we are completely alone in the world.

However, in these moments, what we truly crave is not to disappear but to be found.

The desire to disappear often stems from feeling like a burden to others, feeling like we don't fit in, or feeling like we are not enough. We may feel like our problems are too much for others to handle, and that it would be easier for everyone if we just disappeared. But the truth is, we are not a burden, and we are not alone in our struggles.

What we really want is for someone to notice us, to reach out and ask how we are doing, and to let us know that we are not alone. We want someone to listen to us, to understand us, and to support us. We want to feel seen and heard, and we want to know that we matter.

When we feel like disappearing, it's important to remember that we are not alone. There are people in our lives who care about us, who love us, and who want to help us. It can be scary to reach out and ask for help, but it's important to remember that it's okay to not be okay and that there is no shame…
