My mind flows through the Universe.
You know, an ADD/ADHD’s mind always digresses, and yesterday at morning I thought:
“What would I do If I were The President of the World?”
Is that funny, don’t you think so? Even it’s impossible — of course, I am a day-dreamer, but not that much, lol — it’s an exercise for my mind and keeps my brain alive and well. It’s like a Writer’s Spirit, we all ask ourselves “If… “, that’s we begin a new story.
So, let’s move on with my strange and impossible reverie.
I read at least four newspaper daily. Usually, two in Portuguese and English, and then what is the most common in all news? Conflicts in the whole world, political corruption, bloodthirsty dictators, genre, racial and religion violence and so on. It’s terrible because we hardly find at least one good news.
I know it’s not because the Capitalism, as all socialists say — Don’t shoot me yet! Keep calm I will explain to you below.
If socialism were the best world’s solution, all the countries would be socialist, you know.
But only the selfishness man screws up our beautiful world. Yes! Think!
I certainly know that it isn’t a sin to have much money or wealthy. The money is crucial in our society! Probably we were in the stone age or a little more without money.
The huge problem is that the human being doesn’t like to Share, to create Prosperity. It’s simple to prove. On January 8, 2016, I read on BBC News Website: “Oxfam says the wealth of richest 1% equal to other 99%!” Aha! Now you agree with me!
I am not saying that we should share all the world’s money to every person, of course, it would be an insanity! Not everybody has control of his money, I don’t, unfortunately — it’s the one of my biggest struggles, but I am learning to deal with it, hardly, I know.
I believe in meritocracy, and how would we make it comes true?
It is very simple in my mind, and it always is! We would create the same opportunities for everyone. Health, education, house, optimal growth conditions and all their needs. And what would make me more wealthy than you? Determination, hard work, and mainly my capacity to Share my Knowledge, to Help Others to Thrive, my Compassion, my Comprehension of every person, and finally my Love for others.
Is it simple, no? Of course, only in my mind. But I hope it happens in our future. Who knows?
All my Resolutions would be based on three pillars: Equality, Liberty, and Fraternity, and nothing more.
So, let’s see my ten statements:
1. There are no more boundaries among countries from now on:
If I want to create a new and Equitable world, We MUST join not divide. Any person may go to every place he wants with no restriction.
2. Poorest regions have more priority than richest:
Let’s begin a new worldwide balance.
Firstly, we must create a new state of well living. There are many places in the world where poverty is very predominant, and that’s why we need to make an economical effort to create new conditions for those people. And how can we do that? Money, new education method, teaching the people how to undertake, make them help each other. Bringing technology to those locations will transform a desert into a new oasis. Acting this way nobody will want to go away from the place that they were born, but just for learning new possibilities to improve their locations.
3. Is forbidden to forbid.
The Supreme Law is Love for Others as ourselves.
If everybody follow this Law, what for more rules?
When you Love Others, you respect them; don’t covet what they own; don’t steal them and so on.
Your rights end where my begins. Simple like that!
4. We live in a just secular state.
All the religious prejudice is over. All religion or belief has its purpose of improving the spirituality, morality, and fraternity among human beings. Religion and state may not mix up. If We observe in our recent history, we understand that this blend had disastrous effects.
5. All people are free to marry or couple with they want.
No matter if you’re straight, gay, lesbian, transexual, or any other kind of genre. Love doesn’t have a genre. You may build your family the way you want. What matters is the Love, Respect, and Responsibility.
The genre prejudice is over.
6. Everybody is Equal on Earth.
Yes, that’s my favorite!
No matter which race, color, religion, genre, position or whatever.
We are all Brothers. For those who believe in God; We have the same Father.
For those who don’t: We are The Earth’s sons, and consequently, We are all Brothers!
Brothers love each other, and then, there are no differences among us. We are all Equals.
7. Research for the cure of diseases is the highest priority.
Today we have more than tons of illness, and I haven’t found an exact number cataloged. But when I researched on World Health Organization website (http://www.who.int/gho), I discovered that 5.9 million children under age five died in 2015, nearly 16.000 every day (I couldn’t believe that!), and more, we had 9.6 million new TB cases in 2014.
And something that most people almost don’t know, we have about 6.000 rare diseases known nowadays (http://bioinformatics.ua.pt).
I just need to talk about Chagas disease; I’m not sure if everyone knows what cause and everything else is. So Chagas disease, also known as American trypanosomiasis, is a potentially life-threatening illness caused by the protozoan parasite Trypanosoma cruzi (T. cruzi). There’s no cure, and I must tell why even it was discovered by the Brazilian Carlos Chagas in 1909. Unfortunately, the pharmaceutical industry doesn’t research a permanent cure, because it occurs in poor or in development countries in Mexico, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, etc..
It causes more than 12.5 k of deaths every year. And it will no more exist when I become a President of the World, you bet!
8. All pollutants are banned. We have only Green Energy.
Let’s stop killing the Planet and us as well. We need to change what We have done for a long time. I don’t want to say to my descendants that We just fail to save the Planet. And most of all, if We want to extinguish all diseases in the world, keep on using the poisons daily, that’s a huge contradiction!
And you want more? 23% of all estimated global deaths are linked to the environment, accordingly Global Health Observatory (GHO) data (http://www.who.int/gho). That’s terrible.
9. Nobody will die of starvation.
We have one of the most contradiction in this world, and even though our global food production could feed three worlds like ours, 3.5 million of children are still dying from hunger every year. I have no words for that. Only in Brazil 26 million of tons of food are wasted each year.

So, We will make all the efforts to balance the food distribution in the world. If We want to banish all diseases, We must rethink not only the distribution but the production too.
10. All kind of guns is banned forever.
Finally, it is the last one! Lol.
If We want to build a new society, with all precepts above, We need no more guns, because all the violence is over.
We don’t need to protect ourselves because, from now on, We all live in Peace, no more guns!
Hey, do you think it is over? NO… I put this last one, you bet! Because I couldn’t lose a chance to make a joke! Lol.
11. All the classified UFO archives are opened for everyone.
Yes, I am an X-Files fan, like many others. I believe in Government Conspiracies, but I am not so freak about it.
I believe that We are not alone in this huge Universe, definitely no!
So, let’s start doing some counts with me. The Universe is 13.82 billion years old, and our Planet is 4.54 billion years. So, if the Earth was created more than 9.30 billion years after the Universe, why don’t many people understand that others worlds were created first than the Earth, and they can be more advanced than us? And if it’s true, they may come here wherever they live and the many ways that We don’t know how or understand. What do you think so?
And more — that’s the icing on the cake for me! — I believe that We are not prepared to contact the extraterrestrial yet because our religions, almost all, has a belief that We are the only one living in the big space.
I don’t agree, of course, but I just know also that it could be the most major mass disillusion of our history. Guess with me, I know many people who are extremely religious, and they believe that all truths are in their Holy Books, and one day, many spaceships, land in the biggest cities around the world and make contact with us. Theirs mainly belief go out the window. I think they go crazy, you know? And it may be hazardous.
I would always pursue the Peace
Conclusion
I never was a president of nothing, only to my own life.
Even if I pass through the world unnoticed, I’m walking, sometimes on the sand, others on the stones and also among the thorns.
It doesn’t matter how much it can be sore; the most important are the footprints left.
