When creating a Content Marketing strategy, one of the most difficult things is to have new ideas.

It’s a hard task for a content creator to have new ideas, research, write, record videos or podcasts, and edit and juggle with many other tasks.

In my Inbound Marketing experience, I’ve been trying a few ways to make this work more efficient and one of the greatest solutions is Content Repurposing.

As I already wrote in one of my latest articles, Content Repurposing is when you create new content, based on existing pieces of content.

In this article, I will show you 5 ways for you to repurpose your content and optimize your Content Marketing strategy

1- Blog article into social media posts

With a blog article, you can gather a lot of useful information and tips. One way to repurpose that content is to turn that article into a few social media posts.

Select the most relevant tips and highlight important information and share them in a social media post. This strategy has two advantages: you optimize your content and attract your followers to your blog, increasing its traffic.

2- Ebooks into YouTube Videos

After you create an E-book or a guide filled with content, one effective way to optimize it and repurpose it is to create a YouTube video explaining everything it’s on the E-book.

Not everyone likes to read long-format content, and videos are easier to watch and almost everyone consumes content through video. Video Marketing is one of the great trends and brings huge results.

3- YouTube videos into short videos

Besides YouTube, you can also create videos for other platforms and other formats, for instance, TikTok, Reels, and even YouTube Shorts (videos up to 60 seconds).

When you update a YouTube video, transform it into smaller videos, highlighting the most important parts. This way, you will increase your reach, and attract more traffic to your YouTube channel.

4- Podcasts into blog posts

After you record a podcast episode, you can transcribe it and post it as a written version of your episode.

Bonus tip: You can also repurpose the podcast into social media posts (images and/or videos). It is a great way to promote your episode, as well!

5- Customer testimonials into Case Studies

Use your customers’ testimonials to create a Case Study and provide real examples of your work and results.

With these 5 tips, you can improve your Content Marketing strategy and optimize your content creation process.
