My 2016 Resolutions.

I’m big on habits. Believe it or not, I’m also big on New Year’s resolutions. I know it’s cliche, but all New Year’s resolutions usually are, is a list of good habits that people want to incorporate in their lives, and a list of bad habits they want to get rid of.

For this year (2016) I didn’t make a traditional New Year’s Resolutions list (e.g. be more organized, or stop cutting corners). This year I set upon this:

  1. Manage my state and emotional reactions and actions
  2. In every situation, try to approach and figure out what ppl need in general, and what I need in particular
  3. Always try to see things from the other person’s POV, and try to communicate from that POV
  4. Try to focus, learn and apply what you’ve learned

We’re at the beginning of Fall and I think I’ve done a good job so far. I still have ways to go, but with this, it’s only important to start when you said you would, and over time you will build mastery. After all:

“Life isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon.”

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
