How to enter BIOS on old computers

In this topic I will cover VERY old desktop and laptop models and how to enter BIOS( various kind of it) using keyboard

Acer (Aspire, Power, Veriton, Extensa, Ferrari, TravelMate, Altos):

Press [F2] or [Del]

Acer (old computers)

Press[F1] or [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Esc]

AMI (American Megatrends AMIBIOS, AMI BIOS):

Press [Delete]

AMI (American Megatrends AMIBIOS, AMI BIOS) — old versions:

Press [F1] or [F2]

Award BIOS (AwardBIOS):

Press [Del]

ALR(old):

Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Esc] or [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Del]

ARI(old):

Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Esc] or [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Del] during the boot

AST Advantage:

Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Esc] during the boot

Compaq (Presario, Prolinea, Deskpro, Systempro, Portable):

Press [F10] during the boot

Compaq (old desktops):

Press [F1], [F2], [F10], or [Del] when you will see Compaq logo

Cybermax:

Press [Esc]

Dell (XPS, Dimension, Inspiron, Latitude. OptiPlex, Precision, Vostro):

Press [F2]

Dell (old 486 models):

Press[Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Enter] when you will see Dell logo

Dell (very few old models):

Press Reset two times

Dell (old laptop models) :

Press [Fn]+[Esc] or [Fn]+[F1]

DTK (Datatech Enterprises):

Press [Esc] instantly after you turn it on

EISA Computer:

Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Esc] or [Crtl]+[Alt]+[S]

Machines (eMonster, eTower, eOne, S-Series, T-Series):

Only after RAM test will start press [Tab] or [Del]

eMachine (some older computers):

Press [F2]

Fujitsu (LifeBook, Esprimo, Amilo, Tablet, DeskPower):

Press [F2] when Fujitsu logo is appearing.

Hewlett-Packard (HP Pavilion, TouchSmart, Vectra, OmniBook, Tablet):

Press [F1] after you will see the logo

IBM (PC, XT, AT):

Press [F1] from DOS CMD

IBM (old desktops and laptops):

Press [F2] instantly after turning it on.

Lenovo (ThinkPad, IdeaPad, 3000 Series, ThinkCentre, ThinkStation):

Press [F1] or [F2]

Lenovo (old models):

Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[F3], [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Ins] or [Fn]+[F1].

Microid Research (MR BIOS):

Press [F1]

Micron (MPC Computers ClientPro, TransPort):

Press [F1], [F2] or [Del]

NEC (PowerMate, Versa, W-Series):

Press[F2]

NEC Versa Notebook:

Press and hold[F1]

Olivetti PC Pro:

During the boot press and hold[Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Shift]+[Del]

Packard Bell (8900 Series, 9000 Series, Pulsar, Platinum, EasyNote, imedia, iextreme):

If you do not have a regular keyboard press [F1], [F2], or[Del] on digital keyboard

Packard Bell (old models 386 and 486):

Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[S]

Phoenix BIOS (Phoenix-Award BIOS):

Press [Del] during system autotest

Phoenix BIOS (Phoenix-Award BIOS) — old versions:

Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[S],[Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Esc], [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Ins] or [Ctrl]+[S] instantly after turning it on

Sharp (Notebook Laptops, Actius UltraLite):

Press [F2]

Shuttle (Glamor G-Series, D’vo, Prima P2-Series, Workstation, X Mini XPC, Surveillance):

Press [F2] or [Del]

Sony (VAIO, PCG-Series, VGN-Series):

Press[F1], [F2] or [F3]

Sony Vaio 320 Series:

Press[F2] during the boot

Tandon and Tandon 386:

Press [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Esc]

Toshiba (Portege, Satellite, Tecra):

Press [Esc] during the boot

Toshiba (Portege, Satellite, Tecra on Phoenix BIOS):

Press [F1] during the boot

Zenith, Phoenix:

Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Ins]
