I never really got the point of Red Zone. To me it seems like you arent watching football any more than someone who just watches the highlights on Sportscenter the next day.

I find it much more interesting to watch the whole game because, as the article mentions, it gives you actual context. Things have more meaning because you know everything that came before it and you experienced the build up to it. With RedZone it seems like everything is just happening in a vacuum and nothing really matters.

But I fully realize that I’m almost certainly the minority and most people care more about fantasy sports than the actual sport so RedZone is perfect for that.
