Ok, apologies, I take the comment back. I had to re-read the section a few times but if the context is “if you want to do functional programming, avoid these things” then that’s fine.

But if you are saying “avoid class” but “Foo.prototype.bar = () => {}” is ok within a function programming context (is that even allowed anyway in FP?), then I think I’d share a difference of opinion.
