So true. It’s like that old quote that a man dies twice — once when the last breath leaves his body, and again when his name is spoken for the last time.
I remember listening to an interview with Chris Rock where he said that he’s not afraid to die any more — he knows that he’s created a body of work that will outlive him, and he’s satisfied that he’s accomplished something meaningful. Whereas the average person on the street who hasn’t: that’s the person that should fear death.
