Having started playing music professionally as a child, Andrew Huggett is no stranger to the world of professional music. His parents were musicians and he began writing music at 12 years old. He studied at the Guildhall School of Music, Trinity College of Music, and the Royal College of Music. Beatle's producer George Martin discovered him when he was 17 and signed him to a 3-year recording contract. Andrew Huggett was a member of the Renaissance music group The Huggett Family and, between 1974 and 1982, the group regularly toured North America and Europe.

In the following decade, he worked as a freelance musician and composer, creating music for orchestras like the National Arts Centre Orchestra and Symphony Nova Scotia to commercial clients like Budget Rent A Car and Molson Breweries. In 1993, Andrew accepted the position of composer and audio creative director at GAPC, one of Canada's leading audiovisual production houses for TV. He held the position from 1993 until 2020, when he resigned to pursue other interests.

Andrew composes music for movies, video games, TV shows, documentaries, jingles, amusement park attractions, and concert halls. Whether it's rock, jazz, country, pop, ethnic, or symphonic, he is equally at home in any musical genre. From LA to South Africa, Singapore to Qatar, his truly diverse skills have attracted clients worldwide.
