A place to absorb and share what I learn and experience
I’m not sure yet, what medium means to me.
However, I am on a path of much more education and immersion into the arts this year, as we’ve just finished the new year and the sundance film festival.
For now, I’m going to begin reviewing and distilling my notes and thoughts on books, articles, courses, seminars, and podcasts that impact me here. This is primarily for me, yet I hope to use it to be helpful to others as well.
Medium seems like a great place to do it, and also provides a simple way to share what I’m learning, and any part of what may or may not be helpful.
It is also easy to transform, and move and integrate with other systems, so I’ll start here.
What I’m currently experiencing
I live in Park City, UT and we just had the Sundance Film Festival, it was great and I was able to participate a little bit.
On that note, I’ve re-fallen in love with documentaries, VR, and generally looking for great film on a regular basis to replace my incessant serial TV watching. I think, as odd as it sounds, much of society especially american society would be much better off watching 1 movie a day for 90–120+ minutes than the 3–7 episodes of TV. I still love TV

Books
- Radical Acceptance by Tara Brach
- Scaling Up by Vern Harnish
- The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing
- Hooked: How To Build Habit-Forming Products
- I have a lot of books around and in process, not listed here
Podcasts: So many, and constant. I’ll share as I go.
Courses: I’m currently studying design, as I have decided to take on that role in my company in much more detail. It has been amazing, and important as a step towards better forming the products we need to build to transition away from services.
So, I imagine this post will never catch fire but it’s a way for me to hit publish today, and have something to look back to, and to try medium.
