My unfiltered reaction to the Great American Eclipse

Reporting in from Madras, Oregon. This was my third viewing of a total solar eclipse.

HFS, it was a fiery rotund eagle winging through the heavens! A billion willowy fireworks simultaneously launched from a magic orb. A cosmic glowing poke-ball countering a Magma Storm. Wonder Woman’s boomerang tiara spinning at 10 thousand RPM. A black vinyl record playing a full-throated Bonnie Tyler cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine.” The fiery thrust trail of a Saturn V rocket launching the Galactica. A space dragon exposing its flaming teeth while emitting a barbaric yawp. The concentration of the Force generated by a ring of 100 million lightsaber-wielding Jedi. Yeah, it was something.
