The New Dunk King

Blake Griffin needs to slide over, because there is a new dunk king in the NBA. He plays in the same city, but wears purple and gold. Let’s just go ahead and crown Larry Nance Jr. as the best dunker in the league. I just put out my first edition of dunk, dish and “don’t bring that in here!”. It was my picks for the best plays of the first half of December. Last night, Larry Nance Jr. had the dunk of the year and one of the best in-game dunks I have ever seen. He did the “Statue of Liberty” in traffic over a 7 footer not far from where the actual Statue of Liberty is located. He had the entire crowd in disbelief including the Brooklyn Nets bench! I have been ranting and raving for the last year about how the son of former slam dunk champion, Larry Nance, is the best dunker in the league. He is the perfect combination of length, athleticism and hops not to mention the genetics. He also happens to be one of the quietest, most soft-spoken guys in the league. After he posterized Brook Lopez, he even apologized to him!! Check out the dunk and some of his other great dunks.
