The ideal task management system
It’s a system of structured communications, that
Communicate the value and importance of every task to every team member
Communicate the sense of progress and status for the team thru different visual representations
Manage my communications in according to my position to the result of a task (“I am a client”, “I am approver of the result”, “I am responsible for the result”, “I am involved in the result delivery”)
Protect my time and attention by nudging me to forget (or ignore) unimportant tasks without feeling guilty while keeping the rest structured and organized
….and don’t use “task lists”
