  • Login to your account and go to your profile page
  • Go to status update text box and click on photo option
  • Select Upload photo option, this will take you to some more options, there select ‘upload via email’ option
  • You will get another large pop up box, from here click on the link ‘refresh your upload email’.
  • It will ask for your permission to reset email.
  • That’s all, your email address will be changed. Now keep your new email address safe

Facebook Auto Tagging

Another difficulty Facebook users are facing is its auto #tagging feature. Facial recognition is one auto tagging feature introduced by Facebook itself to save the time of users while tagging friends in their large number of uploaded pictures. Disable Auto Tagging Via Facial Recognition Feature

  • Login to your Facebook account
  • Go to ‘privacy setting’. Here click on ‘Customize Setting’ Option
  • In next screen you will get option ‘Things To Share’. Click on it
  • Check for the ‘Suggest Photos of Me to Friends’ option. Click on ‘Edit Setting’ option
  • Here you can change it from Enabled to Disabled. That’s all

Avoid Auto Tagging By Spammers

If you got a noticed that you have been tagged by a person in photo or in comment, whom you don’t know, then its sure that this is done by spammers. Here are the steps to avoid such #spams in future.

  • Login to your account and click on the notification which says you got tagged by someone at somewhere
  • This link will take you to the post where you have been tagged
  • Check for the main person who posted that message or photo
  • Click on that person and block him or her
