Split Your Android Studio Code Editor

Did you know that you can split your code editor screen to work with multiple files at the same time? You can even do both vertical and horizontal splits.

Let’s not waste time & do it. Write click on any tab.

As you see, you have Split Vertically & Split Horizontally listed. Let’s try the first.

You can drag any open file to any of the sides.

You can still split it further.

Finally close the open files and try the Horizontal Split.

Here you go 🚀 . Now you can work on multiple files in an efficient ways.
