Exclusive Motorola Droid Turbo With Ultra-Fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, Quad HD Display Launched

Long rumored and finally announced at a Verizon event, the Motorola Droid Turbo is a Verizon-exclusive phone with a feature list that sounds like a dream — and a focus on longer battery life that’s overdue. The high-end phone landscape has taken an uptick in recent weeks, amazing speed and performance, the sharpest display of any smartphone comes with Turbo charging for additional battery life when you need it most.
Verizon announced that the Droid Turbo smartphone by Motorola will be available starting October 30 from its online and retail stores. It comes in a choice of a durable “Ballistic Nylon” build, or a “metalized” Kevlar fiber build.
The Droid Turbo’s best feature might be its 3,900mAh battery, which offers up to 48 hours of battery life according to Motorola and Verizon. And that battery charges fast, too: an included “Turbo Charger” allows the Turbo to get 8 hours of use in just 15 minutes of charge time.

The Droid Turbo will come with “pure” Android 4.4.4, but with a guaranteed upgrade to Android Lollipop when it’s available soon. The Turbo will also take advantage of Verizon’s wide-band audio call quality over LTE. Much like the Moto X, the Droid Turbo supports Moto Voice, active notifications, and Moto Assist for hands-free control. Stay tuned for how this all works when we actually review one soon.
The Droid Turbo has been priced at $199.99 (approximately Rs. 12,250) for the 32GB model with new two year activation or $25 per month on Verizon Edge, and will be available in Metallic Black, Metallic Red, and Black Ballistic Nylon models. The 64GB variant comes at $249.99 (approximately Rs. 15,300) with new two year activation or $27 per month on Verizon Edge, and will be available in Black Ballistic Nylon.
