Acid, fireworks and chocolate milk Part one

Imagine your friend offers you acid that taboo drug that you here about. You wonder to yourself what could happen if you try it, could you die, will you see aliens, will I have a bad time?…
The first time I tried acid was in my friends apartment in Oxford. We had been trying to acquire the stuff for a long time and had finally found someone who could get it for us.
I hadn’t planned to take it on that day it, in fact I received a message from the supplier asking us to go to his house and pick it up. On the journey there we listened to a daily mix from Spotify, a song came on by a band called NomBe, It was really good, so good I saved the song on my phone for a later listen. We travelled through the lanes(the scenic route) it was a nice day we wanted to take it all in.. also the friend who was driving thinks he is a boy racer so he wanted to go fast around the corners.
As you can imagine with any drug dealing we were nervous. The guy walked out from his house down the road and appeared at the window of my car. I wound the window down to say hello. without a word he gave it to me and walked off. As he did I saw he was in his socks with not a care in the world. It didn’t seem like a scary drug deal or a dodgy deal it actually felt very innocent, anyway…
We went back to the apartment but not without a detour to Tesco’s to get some snacks, at this point we didn’t know how we would feel while on acid so thought we would get food in case. We ended up getting chocolate milk and a variety of crisps.

Arriving back at the apartment we sat down and tested the Acid Wait….what…Tested it?… yes we tested it. we always test any drug we buy as should everyone, who knows what it could be otherwise. The kits are around £20 online and test for a variety of drugs. The result of the test was a yellowy orangey colour which told us the drug was in fact acid. Wahey!
We sat down on the sofa, stuck the acid on our tongues and started playing Fortnite as you do…after 10 minutes we swallowed the tab and carried on playing…
After about 30 minutes I started feeling like I had a little buzz. I kept playing the game waiting until a new symptom appeared.
I started a new game and as I was parachuting into the map I realised it was just a game and I wasn’t actually falling through the sky with only a tiny umbrella to stop me. I carried on playing but as I played my fingers were twitching a little, I gave up when I could no longer put any focus into the game.
I turned around in my seat and saw a friend with his head in his hands. This weird feeling had begun to overwhelm our senses, I decided to stand outside on the balcony, as I did I seemed to take in everything that was happening around me. the planes in the sky the birds all around us.
Looking into the distance I could distinctly make out the layers of buildings and trees, all these put together made a pleasant image, it was like watching an old film where each piece of the set was a 2D piece of card layered to create the scene.

I looked up into the sky and saw a para-glider high above me. I wondered what it must be like to sit up there taking in the world below, How could it look from that persons view and contemplating whether I’d put my faith into a few pieces of string and fabric. any second the force of the wind could blow them out the sky…
