I think you are asking the right questions. In the end Meteor is just a coupled stack of NodeJS code. It even doesn’t force you to use Blaze or the other components. I just think only because there are new kids on the block you just don’t leave your old friends ^^. I already built like 5–7 Meteor apps some bigger some smaller — running in production with PM2 at different companies. Why not combine Microservices with your Meteor app (if you have resource-hungry-operations)?
