Andy Beshear Earns Endorsement of SEIU District 1199 in Eastern KY

Today the Beshear/Coleman campaign is announcing the endorsement of SEIU District 1199, representing over 900 workers in hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics throughout Eastern Kentucky.

Health care is on the ballot this November and we’re confident he’s going to protect and expand access to affordable care, especially here in Eastern Kentucky,” said Kathy McCormick, Secretary-Treasurer for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) District 1199 WV/KY/OH. “Health care workers have faced unprecedented challenges under Matt Bevin — and now more than ever, we need a governor who will put working families first. Andy Beshear is a leader who will meet the needs of working families when it comes to protecting health care, jobs, and retirements.”
