Everything is OK

Everything is OK.

But actually.

Not ignoring anything.

Acknowledge everything.

Accept it.

And it’s still OK.

We don’t NEED to always have something wrong.

Something to be stressed about.

That’s not what makes us strong.

Everything being good DESPITE those things makes us strong.

But the strength to believe that everything really is OK is far greater than any strength it would take to “struggle through” or “keep our chins up”.

That is a battle far more epic than any imagined emotional struggle.

And the rewards so much greater.

Everything is OK.

So you got hurt.

So you’re sensitive.

So everything isn’t as you thought it would be or as you think it should be.

So you don’t get what you think you need.

So.

So?

SO?

The ability to see the negative in every situation, to always have something painful to fall back on is a skill that takes a lot of practice.

So stop.

Everything is OK.

Everything is OK.

I promise.
