THE MONSTER CALL FEAR

In life, your worst enemy is not the criminals roaming the dark streets or your friends who will stab you at the back. Your worst enemy is that monster called fear. It is so powerful that when it strikes, blood flows to the extremity and legs and arms are the victims. First, let’s look at the word fear and what it means. Fear is a feeling of great worry or concern caused by the knowledge or apprehension of danger. Fear is defined in Webster’s dictionary as, "an unpleasant, sometimes strong emotion caused by an anticipation or awareness of danger" or” anxious concern."
In life, we are confronted with all sorts of fears. It comes in different forms, fear of terrorism, fear of losing loved ones, fear of losing a job and fear of natural disasters. No one is safe from the grip of fear and the accompanying stress that come with it.
Fear is dangerous because it affects both the physiology of the body and the chemical balance of the brain as well. When you are afraid of something it generates stress. Extreme stress can manifest itself physically in a number of ways. Fear is the feeling we come across in every period of life which obstructs the ways leading towards directions of many paths of life. Fear can lead to anxiety and as you know anxiety is a state of chronic apprehension and this can cause mental disorder. This can directly attack our mind severely. If fear is not controlled at the early stage, it can cripple your everyday existence and it can also lead to premature death.
Fear respects no one and it has no age limitations or gender preferences. Men and women of all ages and sexual orientations can be a victim of this monster called fear. Being a victim of fear is highly stressful experience. If you are a victim of fear, you are likely to be confused, helpless, frustrated resentful and angry. Sad to say, fear is a manipulator, and it is harmful to your physical health and it can also keep you in bondage. Fear thrives most when the victim is the curious type. Like the say, curiosity killed the cat.
In life, some people make mistakes that are stingingly painful. While majority of them would go on to heal and traces of them forgotten. While there are some mistakes that run deep within and leaves a lifetime scars with regrets coupled with devastating resentment that continue to haunts the victim.
