Strongly agree. I learned from Jack Welch when I was at GE that one also has to have one and only one key message, and align all behavior around it to be successful. Align compensation of all levels. His key initiatives ran 1.5–3 years, due to the size of GE. I’ve found with my company of 30, it takes 30–60 days of daily reinforcement, followed by monthly reinforcement to keep them on course.
