A very special thank you to Brandon Harrell, the community experience and operations manager at SF Impact Hub. He helped organize and brought together the many wonderful organizations to this short photo series in San Francisco.

001 Hello Friends is a photo series by Andy Rene Tran. This is his new found love and exploration of cause based stories and organizations in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Hello: Mama Hope

Mission: MAMA HOPE is an advocate for global communities. We work in service of grassroots leaders who have big dreams to change the world. We provide training and funding to build locally-led, sustainable projects that impact partner communities worldwide while challenging mainstream perceptions of poverty.

Because of MAMA HOPE’s work, 730,000 people now have access to education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, livelihood opportunities and food security across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guatemala, India and in the US.

We believe that our partners are the experts and know how to solve their own problems, and our relationship with them is rooted in trust and mutual respect — we are a global family.
