Self Portrait and Selfies have the same meaning, the difference is that selfies are taken with hand and self-portrait are taken with all Photography aspects. Self Portraits are the most interesting photo experimenting stuffs anyone can do. If you want to be creative with yourself then click a self-portrait experimenting with your emotional state. Show your character through the picture, if you're introvert then you can show something around you which is relatable to your character. Your character should formulate yourself in the photo! You can play with lights, any props or anything else if you like. The background also plays a major role to define your character, like what kind of place you like to stay or this place suits you well! Your dressing sense also takes litigation in your character. Clicking self-portrait is not that easy, because not everyone shows their character.
