Introduction
Welcome to our development update for April 9th, 2022. In our weekly updates, we discuss our progress on all things anetaBTC, including our core wrapping protocol, token distribution platform, and Aneta Wallet.
anetaBTC
The top priority of the anetaBTC wrapping protocol is the functionality and security of the vaults. This week, our vault team:
- Continued development and debugging of V1 BTC-relay for Ergo;
- Continued updating unit tests for our ErgoScript minting and redeeming smart contracts with the verification and relaying functions;
- Debugged and resolved local Ergo Node testnet syncing issues;
- Continued preparation of our BTC-relay repository for upcoming auditing and publishing.
Aneta Wallet
Aneta Wallet V1 is now live on Google Play Store. Official announcement coming soon.
We are also continuing to port Aneta Wallet to iOS. This week, our team continued to develop the interface for core wallet pages using UIKit library for Kotlin along with testing the functionality of the wallet with RoboVM plugin.
TosiDrop
For the Ergo implementation of TosiDrop, we executed more successful airdrops with Ergo native tokens on testnet. From the client-side, we added validation cases and error messages to ensure a quality user experience when using the platform.
The final steps are to update minor user interface tweaks and finish refactoring the codebase. After this, TosiDrop on Ergo will be able to seamlessly airdrop Ergo native tokens to thousands of wallets in one transaction.
For TosiDrop on Cardano, browser mode is near completion as we are in the midst of adding the final UI tweaks. We plan to release a sneak peek soon. Dark mode is complete, and we are now finishing the light mode version. Additionally, we altered our method of server deployment which enabled us to access the serialization-lib. We will continue testing on testnet, and we will announce when the platform is ready for mainnet use. This will allow our delegators to claim their first cNETA tokens from LISO, in addition to other scheduled airdrops, such as New Year’s airdrop, minting Aneta Angels airdrop, and 3rd delegator surprise. We are currently anticipating a few more weeks of testing to ensure the faucet is an excellent experience for our community.
For direct airdrops on Cardano (as opposed to vending-machine style), the airdrop tool is complete and production-ready. Within the next week or so, the site will be live for public use, and anyone will be able to directly airdrop platform tokens to their community members. The final steps are to:
- Containerize app;
- Optimize architecture of backend functionality;
- Continue evaluating edge cases on testnet.
Other Developments
We are also developing other infrastructure for our community and ecosystem. This includes, but is not limited to:
- cNETA Staking Rewards Calculator V2;
- Governance and voting mechanism;
- Cardano and Ergo address association mechanism.
More updates will be announced on these developments as they near completion, and specifically our staking rewards calculator, which should be live within the next week or so.
Final Remarks
Over the coming days and weeks, we are preparing to release details of Aneta Angels on Ergo along with announcing how miners on Ergo can participate in anetaBTC.
