This article will discuss our development update for the anetaBTC protocol and related infrastructure. The rest of this article will explore what to expect, and how to get involved with our community!
Introduction
Welcome to our development update for May 8th, 2022. In our updates, we discuss our progress on all things anetaBTC, including our core wrapping protocol, token distribution platform, and Aneta Wallet.
anetaBTC
The top priority of the anetaBTC wrapping protocol is the functionality and security of the vaults. This week, our vault team:
- Debugged V1 BTC-relay’s ErgoScript implementation of Merkle-proof for transaction verification;
- Continued translating and debugging ErgoScript minting and redeeming smart contracts on our application built on Ergo Appkit;
- Wrote documentation for Ergo node setup and wrapping ABI/API calls;
- Worked on analysis of Rosen Bridge vs. Interlay Style BTC-Relay Bridge;
- Developed vault interface;
- Continued adding Bitcoin functionality for user and vault transactions, currently implementing our redeeming process to securely transfer funds back to users’ wallets from the vault or slashed collateral from malicious vaults.
Aneta Wallet
For Aneta Wallet, we are working on porting to iOS. The ‘restoring wallet’ function has been successfully implemented along with ‘create wallet’ and ‘read-only wallet’. We are now testing pages for functionality in addition to ironing out bugs. The next step is to touch up the user interface.
TosiDrop
As we’ve mentioned in our previous updates, the direct airdrop side for both Cardano and Ergo are in large part, complete.
Our main focus currently is launching the claiming side of TosiDrop on Cardano so delegators to NETA1 and NETA2 can claim their cNETA rewards.
During our private testing, our team was able to identify bugs, and we are now producing fixes to these issues to create the smoothest experience for our supporters.
We will announce in advance when public testing begins.
Other Developments
The LISO Calculator is ready for launch. This will be released in the next couple of days, and we will continue to make improvements to the calculator over time. In the meantime, we recommend using this calculator.
We have also made progress on staking NETA and cNETA, and we are still on track to have these released on both Cardano and Ergo in June.
