Introduction
Within the last few weeks, we’ve released multiple updates including successfully minting cBTC on Cardano, mobile development, and open-sourcing our smart contracts.
Today, we are excited to announce we’ve onboarded Ikigai Technologies to conduct a security audit on our wrapping protocol.
Ikigai Technologies
Ikigai Technologies is a development and research firm focused on the Cardano ecosystem. Their team possesses some of the most talented functional programmers in our ecosystem and has a track record of working alongside Emurgo and IOHK.
This audit, which is expected to take about 4–6 weeks, will detail our security approach and highlight any potential vulnerabilities in order to strengthen our protocol. The completed audit will be fully public and available for everyone in our community to view.
Development
This is an important milestone for launching our mainnet protocol on Cardano. We plan to soon release our cBTC demo followed by releasing our public testnet.
Final Remarks
Our growing development team at anetaBTC is hard at work developing crucial infrastructure for the Cardano and Ergo ecosystem. We are on a mission to bring Bitcoin liquidity into Cardano and Ergo in order to contribute to the anticipated DeFi explosion of these two leading blockchains.
