MrJWW — Rise to Fame of a Social Media Influencer
When stylish car YouTuber MrJWW uploaded his first videos on YouTube for the first time on October, 2015 he didn’t have any subscribers. In a Forbes interview, he said he was testing the waters then. Born James Walker, the English social media sensation is now also a writer for men’s magazine, GQ. His first uploads were “test content,” and he didn’t even show his face on camera. The clips were short and sweet, and far from the latest high end productions on his channel, which showcases Porsches, Ferraris, and Lamborghinis.
James Walker loves supercars. His passion for supercars is evident in his travels and adventures, which he shares online through vlogging. Now, he is a social media influencer as well. The supercar dream is very much alive, and James Walker is enjoying every minute of it.
A petrolhead above the rest
Early this year, MrJWW was invited to drive the McLaren 570S on the snow — but not just on any snowy road. Not many English petrolheads can say they drove a supercar on a surface with almost no traction with an Arctic sunrise in the background. He was joined by Brunno Senna, ex-Formula One driver in the Pure McLaren Arctic Experience and drove the Sports Series supercar in the Arctic Circle.

The supercar driver welcomes everyone to his channel with, “I guess if you’re reading this you’re either interested in cars, Mr JWW or both, so thanks for stopping by.” Evidently, most of the people who drop in find reason to stay. As of this writing Mr JWW has 290,706 subscribers on YouTube. That makes James a happy fellow. Surely, his Ferrari F12, Porsche 911 GT3, Audi RS6 Performance, and Range Rover Autobiography make him even happier. And those are just some of the cars he owns proudly.
MrJWW is also a successful entrepreneur. He can breathe easy, but he does not slack off. Building and maintaining an online community takes dedication and hard work. He has to be vigilant. He knows that he must keep producing content that invites more people, and keep them wanting for more.

Competition has grown and viewers expect higher quality content.” When he decided to improve the production quality of his videos, he was rewarded with a deluge of followers on Instagram and YouTube. Evidently, those who are willing to invest in quality easily find themselves enjoying a build-up of followers. This is not surprising at all. After all, great sound and arresting imagery grab attention. These days, if you don’t get the attention of your target audience someone else will.

Because of his current position, Mr. JWW has the means to produce even better content. He has already established his authority and influence on social media. Yet, James is aware that only hard work pays off, and to remain on top of the niche, he must keep producing extraordinary content for his followers.
