Umair, I have been following your work for some time. This is unequivocally the most profound and inspiring piece I have read.
My dream is to awaken, empower, and operationalize the dreamers of this generation. I lead a social movement called Choose2Matter (Choose2Matter.org) that does exactly that with or without
formal education. We have over 60,000 classrooms and a half million students who are taking dreaming beautifully and boldly seriously.
I know we have not connected, but you are a part of making this dream happen. You have not only inspired me, you have helped crystalize the essential elements needed to move forward and create epic change.
In many of your posts, you have expressed frustration, even hopelessness for what the future brings.
I assure you this generation, the one the world has not yet met, is a generation of dreamers. Their capacity to connect, their consciousness and compassion gives them the ability to achieve what no other generation before them has.
One day in the very near future every child WILL have an education that is worthy of their potential and promise. This is my dream, and it will teach the next generation to honor, value and behold their own dreams.
I am passionate, inspired, irrational, defiant, vigilant, passionate and consumed by it. I am this dream with every fiber of my being.
