Perceptions of Happiness
Happiness is a mood — not a destination. Everyone has something to be sad about. This is the reality of being a human that feels. It is highly important to understand the sources of sadness in your life and accept them for what they are. There is no such thing as a state of eternal happiness which we all so actively seek. It is a state of acceptance of your sadness that determines your happiness. It is physically impossible as a human being to always feel happy, our genetics just doesn’t possibly allow that. When we become unattached from our sadness and accept it as a mood then we will be more grateful for the happiness in which we feel.
To want nothing and accept everything for the state that it is.
