Faking a Mandate
Michael Arnovitz

The GOP considers it a “mandate” because not only did Trump get the nod, but the American people as a whole also decided that they wanted GOP control of the US Senate, the US House of Representatives, the US Supreme Court, the majority of Governors and the vast majority of state legislatures.

If it was just Trump the claims would be a lot different, but when the American people hand over virtually all public offices to the GOP its hard to claim that some sort of mandate doesn’t exist.
