I so agree with the love of drawing. Although, admittedly I find Microns problematic. There is a lot of strength in an uneven line that you get with brush pens, or any media that gives you fats and thins. Micron are the cheap rapidograph of today, their lines are stone cold engineering industrial precise. Students tend to scrub over their lines to make them thicker which looks pained. Making a bit of a mess, is another part of the discovery and wonder that occurs when you get off the pixels and on to the drawing board. Lately, I’ll admit I’m loving how diner napkins will absorb ink depending on the speed of your stroke. Notably, most of the best art materials are not found in an art store, hehahah.
