These are my three. From left to right Hufflepuff Laura Ingalls, Slytherin Sioban McReary, and Gryffindor Skylar Caperia.

You can be both male or female, depending on how you want to play. I play mainly female, as it gives me a break from the usual male characters I play such as Jin, Kratos, Joel, and Arthur.

Anyway! The MC! I’m just going to use female pronouns as this is what I’m so used to.

In one video on YouTube, it was originally planned in game files that our character would have had a background based on the House they choose. If you were Slytherin for example, your family would have had a pureblood background. It would have been cool if you chose your House beforehand, and had a House specific introduction up until Fig fetches you to catch up. It’ll be like the beginning of Dragon Age Origins where you pick a background and race, playing an intro with every one of them ending in meeting Duncan. When you get to Hogwarts, the House is simply a cutscene like it would be after you choose your House.

Unfortunately we have no background, as I guess they want you to come up with it on your own.

Does she have siblings?

Is both or one parent still alive?

Are they Dark Wizards?

Is one of them a Muggle?

Who knows.

My MC joins Hogwarts as a fifth year, her magical powers coming late for some odd reason. In a letter in Fig’s classroom, Fig has been tasked with getting the student to catch up on the four years they missed. We are with him in London about to head to Hogwarts, and it’s here we meet George from the Ministry. He rides with us and explains Ranrok, George then mentioning how Fig’s wife Miriam sent him a container. It’s here MC points out a glow, and when she opens it reveals a key. Just as Fig gets it back a dragon attacks killing George, MC can see the Thestrals, and eventually her and Fig used the key which was a Portkey. It sends them to the Scottish Highlands, where MC discovers more of her powers of Ancient Magic. This involves seeing it, interacting with mirrors that allow travel, and following wisps of magic.

What Makes Her Unique?

Learning Super Fast

Possibly due to her nature, she’s an extremely quick learner to the point where she masters everything in her first try. That includes spells, potions, and even taming the most dangerous animals such as the Graphorn. At this point her being a student is more like being undercover, finding the secrets of Ancient Magic in and around Hogwarts. Even Professor Weasley brings up the fact that MC spends way more time doing stuff for Fig than focusing on school.

Ancient Magic

It seems way more powerful, able to transfigure enemies, summon lightning, bashing enemies to death, or turning them into innocent animals. From what we see of the Keepers, they can also bring about rain, greenery, and structures. Being an unknown kind of magic, it’s something that must be hidden. It also comes off as pretty powerful, including the pain kept by Isadora underneath Hogwarts.

One thing I wish would change is that she is most likely able to cure Anne and Sharp of their curses.

What Would Be Their Job After Their 7th Year?

All the Keepers managed to become Professors including Isadora, allowing them to protect the repository. After protecting Hogwarts and possibly the world, the MC is most likely deemed a Keeper as well. I’d like to think she becomes a teacher of Hogwarts, that way she can keep protecting the repository underneath Hogwarts.

What Does This Mean For MC?

There’s talk of a second game, and maybe a second threat comes along and she’s called on again. Once again she would need to protect Hogwarts, and call in some familiar faces.

Definitely not a pro writer, that's for sure. A place to talk about my favorite things, not caring who sees my shit and not caring if it gets any claps or not.
