The search problem within eCommerce is a wicked one, every attempt at solving it changes the way is defined. Is a tough one to the Software Industry and a frustrating to the consumer.

The solution is in the way the problem is defined and your approach sets the right course.

People searching respond to a idiosyncratic and variable judgment of relevancy that makes every query potentially unique. We shall focus on that which makes us people to try an understand that which makes us feel good, build units of this and deliver them along the search experience. People are irrational and yet there are patterns in this irrationality that may be predicted and empathised with.
