Interesting stuff — I go the gym alot and never get tired of it while a lot of my friends do. I think the secret is just embracing the workout and learning to enjoy the struggle. Tonsa people wanna do whatever their goals are for the short-term: lose 50 lbs, get to this much money, etc. but the impatient mentality that it inspires to get there makes the journey miserable (since they don’t enjoy the misery as you say), and once they get there it’s a pretty empty victory usually.
