Dellomo worked alongside concerned citizens to champion the cause of declaring the New Jersey Pine Barrens a National Preserve. His advocacy efforts led to the implementation of crucial conservation laws, safeguarding the habitat of diverse wildlife species that call the Pine Barrens home. Covering 1.1 million acres, these pristine lands face constant threats from development due to New Jersey's high population density. Dellomo remains a staunch advocate, tirelessly raising awareness about the critical need to protect this invaluable natural heritage.
