Shohei Ohtani made his Spring Training pitching debut against the A’s in Hohokam, pitching 2.1 innings and giving up no runs or hits. Home runs from Logan O’Hoppe and Jake Lamb and a 5-RBI game from Kyren Paris secured the win for the Halos, 11–5.

The Angels faced off against the White Sox at Tempe Diablo Stadium, with many of the team’s stars making their Spring Training debut. With a booming offense and spectacular outings by the pitching staff, the Halos blanked Chicago, 7–0.

It’s game day! The Angels opened Spring Training play against the Mariners in Peoria. Adell launched the first home run for the Halos and a speedy game thanks to the new time clock rules resulted in a win for the Halos, 5–1.

The Angels welcomed the Orange Lutheran baseball team to practice, treating the young athletes to a show as they crushed home runs during batting practice.

The Halos made their way to the main stadium for the first time this spring. Friendly faces joined the camp, as Angels alumni Troy Percival, Darin Erstad, and Albert Pujols leant their knowledge as special guest instructors.

Despite the chilly Tempe weather, the Halos didn’t let it stop them from getting to work on Day 8 of camp! The team was joined by a familiar face as former Angel Albert Pujols joined the players to share his baseball wisdom.

A monumental return for the Halos! The team celebrated Presidents’ Day with the first full squad workout of 2023 Spring Training, as pitchers, catchers, and position players all enjoyed a day on the baseball field.

The Halos took to the field for another sunny day of practice, the final day before the first official full squad workout.
