One Team One Direction
It’s been a few days since we all got through the longest trek ever for most of us. You should be recovered now and are sharing eagerly about the mix feelings after the epic trek with your friends and colleagues. I just want to quickly wrap up some of my thoughts while it's still hot.

Of all things, this trip proved one important thing that some of you possibly didn't believe you could on that early Saturday morning:
You can walk more than 25km in 2 days.
That’s more than 50,000 footsteps. And it’s not just walking on a normal terrain. There were hills after hills after hills… and super heavy rain and chilly wind in your face and impossible slopes with slippery dirt and grasses. But one way or another we all got through. If you had ever doubted before the trip, your doubt was proven wrong. Toward the end of the road on the second day, when I told my daughter that she had walked for more than 98,000 footsteps, her mind couldn't grasp the number of that magnitude. And when I told her that there were only 2,000 left to go, she found it quite easy to get through the finish line.
You have the courage and perseverance more than you thought.
You were bold to accept the challenge even though you didn't know for sure what would lay ahead. Once facing the hardship of reality, you still kept the spirit up and walking slowly but steadily toward the destination. The magnificent view of mountains and clouds and forests are the most rewarding moments for your endurance. A few of us might be too exhausted to notice so you might get it next time at another place another time.

There is no picture that can really express the feelings when you are standing at the campsite on the top of the hill, inhaling deeply the fresh air of the forest, looking at the road you had passed (in a soaking wet pair of shoes) and being proud of yourself.
“I made it.“

Or the feeling of sitting around the burning fire chewing the baked corn while waiting for the chicken to be done. And many other feelings that each of us experienced differently at different places at different moments.
Words could not describe enough. You have to be there to feel it.
Time and money seems to be insignificant here. They almost have no places in my mind the entire journey. Things that we probably value the most in our daily lives turn out to be of no importance at all. The feeling of having no phone, no worry about time, about money, just walking and admiring the view, talking with some of you and motivating my little companion is quite relaxing.
With a right mind, all roads are short.
One last thing I can be sure of is that both your physical and mental health should improve tremendously after this activity. After fully recovered, you feel each of your footsteps now is much lighter than ever before. You want to keep walking long distance to maintain the lightness of your body. Your mind experiences exciting feelings remembering what you accomplished.
When are you going to go again?

That’s the spirit!!!
