The Udacity Experience
Give a Man a Fish, and You Feed Him for a Day.Teach a Man To Fish, and You Feed Him for a Lifetime.
The Chinese proverb immediately comes to mind when I begin to think about the experience that I have had with Udacity. After I had started working as a Digital Marketing Analyst, I was looking at various avenues where I could get to learn about Digital Marketing holistically and I chanced upon Udacity’s Nanodegree Program. I had already heard about the Nanodegree Credential and how it was proving to be a differentiator for people who are looking to establish themselves in the tech industry. I was curious about the Digital Marketing Nanodegree since this was the first time that Udacity had embarked on a Nanodegree outside of Tech. The curiosity eventually turned into excitement and I signed up for the Nanodegree.

Once I started working on Nanodegree, I found myself applying the techniques that I had learnt directly to my job. Udacity’s principle of ‘Learning by Doing’ held me in good stead where I was able to learn the nuances of different aspects of Digital Marketing. I had a ball working on the Adwords Campaign where I was able to generate a maximum of 75 clicks and utilise the budget that was allocated to me fully. A special Mention must be made to the course Instructors,My mentor Justin and to the Project Evaluators for being so kind and approachable with their feedback. Looking Back at the past 3 months, I have to say that the Nanodegree was a great investment and I was elated after I had received the Nanodegree Certificate. This just might the start of Life Long Learning with Udacity.

A Special Thumbs Up to Sebastian Thrun , the CEO of Udacity for making Quality Education accessible to professionals and students worldwide.
