In order to expose our spark sql tables we need to keep our app running all the time. If we stop it our tables will disappear since they are temporary tables. The while loop is there only to do this, however, we don’t need cpu at this point, so we yield the execution to consume less cpu time.

All this happens because we are using our own thrift server inside the app.
