How to sell your photos on dreamtime and shutterstock & earn money
Today I’m going to show you how you can sell your photos on dreamtime and shutterstock.
On shutterstock they pay $5 per image, and on dreamtime they will pay you between 25% to 60% commission.
So that is really a good deal. If you have so many photos on your phone that means you would be earning a big amount of money from these websites.
Here is how it work:
People from difference country around the world go to shutterstock or dreamtime to find images they can use on their blog or website. So if anyone download any of your photos you uploader to shutterstock or dreamtime, you are going to earn a commission.
So it’s as simple as that.
And let me also tell you, if you want to earn money faster on shutterstock and dreamtime, you need to upload photos that people are likely to download.
So here is a list of photos that people mostly download on shutterstock and dreamtime.
Number one is:

Number 2:
#2)battle against discrimination images
Number 3:
#3)parents or guardians photos
So this are the three types of photos that people download the most. So if you have this kind of photos on your phone that means you can make money faster from shutterstock or dreamtime.
But if you don’t have this kind of images on your phone don’t worry, just upload the one you have and they are people that can aswell like it.
So now let go on to the process on how you can upload your photos and get accepted.
First of all go to https://dreamtime.com
So once you are there click on signup for free, you just need to enter your email and your password.
After you have signup successfully. Go to the very end of the page and you would see button “upload & Sell photo”
Click on “upload & Sell photo” and it will take you to the page where you can upload your photos.
Upload your files with the highest quality possible and in the acceptable image format types (JPEG or PNG). The files will be added to your “Uploads” section, where you can add information to continue the submission process (title, description, categories, keywords etc.).
You need to focus very well on your keywords, because this is how people can find your images.
For example if you upload a laptop image, then the kind of keywords you would enter should be: Laptop isolated, tablets, computer, Laptop screen, laptops etc.
Your keywords you enter is what will make your image be seen by more people.
So after writing your title, description, categories and your keywords, click on submit, and your image will go under review, it just take some hours, or some days for your image to get accepted or rejected.
In order for your image not to get rejected you have to upload as many images as you can, this will increase your chances of getting approved.
So let go to another website which is shutterstock.
Shutterstock is pretty much the same as dreamtime, the same process you uploaded your image on dreamtime, is still the same you are going to follow on shutterstock.
The only difference is that shutterstock does that accept PNG images, they only accept JPEG image or photos and the file size must be between 50mb and above.
So if the images you have is PNG, don’t worry am going to show you how you can covert that to JPEG file and aswell how to increase your image size so that your image can be accepted.
So, to convert PNG images to JPEG images, go to a website called “ convertio.co “ this website will allow you to covert your PNG images to JPEG images.
And also they is what they called megapixel, this is your image resolution.
When I submitted my first image on shutterstock the first issue I have, that got my images rejected is because my images is not in megapixel format.
Until I have to also convert all of my images to megapixel by going to this website called. Imgonline.com.ua
So, upload your image file to this website, and set up your megapixel size to 5 or above, and your image quality, move it to 100. So that is all you have to do here. And click on “OK” to covert and download your image for you.
Then go back to shutterstock and scroll down to the very end of the page and click on “Our Company” then click on sell your content” and the page will open up to you and then you can start uploading your image on their website and they are going to pay you if anyone download your image you upload.
But the one I love most is dreamtime, because, you don’t need to covert your PNG images to JPEG and you don’t even need to resize your image to mega pixel
